Upload your email design. Get a predictive eye-tracking analysis showing where attention goes first, what gets seen, and what gets missed — before a single line of HTML is written.
Behind Inbox Maestro stands Viaretina, a company specialized in visual attention and cognitive science. The models analyzing your mockup are the same ones trusted by leading European brands for their own campaigns.
The details that matter before your first Mockup Review.
What exactly does a Mockup Review include?
A predictive attention heatmap for each screen of your email design — up to 4 screens on desktop and 6 on mobile — along with guidelines to read and interpret them properly. Ready to share with your team or your agency.
How fast will I get my results?
Typically within minutes of your upload. The predictive eye-tracking analysis runs automatically on your design.
Does the report include recommendations?
A Mockup Review delivers an objective attention heatmap, with guidelines to interpret it. Strategic recommendations — copywriting, audience, accessibility — are part of the full Inbox Maestro analysis.
How reliable is predictive eye-tracking?
The analysis is based on predictive attention models validated against academic research benchmarks, including MIT datasets. It reflects how people are likely to scan your design in the first moments of exposure — before brand familiarity or personal bias comes into play.
My email isn't coded yet. Is that a problem?
That's exactly the point. A Mockup Review is designed for the stage before HTML integration — when adjusting the design still costs nothing.
What file formats can I submit?
Any standard image format (PNG or JPG) — a Figma export, an agency visual, or a screenshot of your email design. Desktop and mobile versions are analyzed as separate mockups.
Can I analyze both the desktop and mobile versions of my design?
Yes, at no extra cost. One Mockup Review covers one email design — upload the desktop version, the mobile version, or both, and each uploaded version gets its own analysis. Long designs are split into screens: up to 4 screens on desktop and 6 on mobile are analyzed per version. If you submit only one version, only that version is analyzed.
How are long email designs analyzed?
The way subscribers actually experience them. Your design is divided into screens — up to 4 on desktop and 6 on mobile — and each screen is analyzed independently, because users only see one screen at a time, and attention builds progressively while scrolling. Nobody discovers your footer before your header. This screen-by-screen approach gives you a realistic view of how attention unfolds through your email, rather than one artificial heatmap of the full design at once.
How is this different from the full Inbox Maestro analysis?
A Mockup Review analyzes your design as an image, before integration. The full analysis reviews your integrated email: technical checkup, copywriting insights, accessibility, audience fit — and actionable recommendations.
Can I pay in my local currency?
Yes. Prices are listed in euros, and your local currency is shown automatically at checkout.
What if I'm not satisfied with my analysis?
If the analysis doesn't meet your expectations, contact us at contact@viaretina.com — we'll review your case and issue a refund when justified. We'd rather you buy with confidence.
What happens if I join the Pilot Program later?
Your €99 is fully deducted from the Pilot Program if you join within 60 days of your purchase. Pilot Program members also get Mockup Reviews included in their plan.
Is my design kept confidential?
Yes. Your design is analyzed in a controlled environment, on secure AI infrastructure hosted on dedicated European servers. It is never shared, published, or used for any other purpose.
I need to analyze several design directions. What should I do?
You can submit each design as a separate Mockup Review. If you're comparing multiple directions or analyzing campaigns regularly, the Pilot Program is likely a better fit — let's talk about the right setup for your team.
Stop Debating. Start Deciding.
A Mockup Review replaces opinions with an objective view of where attention is likely to go. Validate your design direction, settle internal debates, and move forward with confidence — before integration locks everything in.
